the bench needs to give us 4 solid minutes to start the 4th, then the starters can close this out

Maybe Rajon should try to float the shot in from 15 feet instead of going for the jumpshot. :P

SHeldon Williams can't possibly be any worse than Sheed.  At least he will rebound and play defense and he won't take shot after shot.  Why can't Doc see this?  Take Sheed out of the game please before it's too late.

Good job Sheed get a technical while you are at it beautiful.  Glad to see the C's have him for 2 more years!

I love how one bad game = we're going to forget we would have lost to the freaking kings two nights ago and that he's actually been having a terrific month while the rest of the bench stunk, and claim he's been playing bad all year.

Celticsblog = where scapegoating based on one bad game happens.

I'm not a sheed fan, myself, but the amount of crap he gets on this blog and the lengths people go to explain away his good games are amazing.

HE is who he is. I don't like his attitude, but he is an asset to this team most of the time.

I am very happy that Rasheed Wallace has played 4 or 5 good games this year.

If you think that's the extent of the good games he's played, your delusional vin. You don't like him, so you project onto him.

He gives us 10/5 on an average night, and sometimes goes off for 15+. He's a 35 year old bench player making the MLE, not a superstar.

Unrealistic expectations for bench players = letdown when they aren't all - stars.

I'm sorry but that jerks shot selections are HORRIBLE. Add that to the mouth and he's a joke. That mouth will cost us a playoff game. I'll put money on it.

How much?

Rasheed has had a lot more than one bad game this year. In fact, I would say out of the 50 or so he has played, at least half have been bad.

wait, now your number is changing. It's gone from "4 or 5" good games to almost 25???

Make up your mind Vin  ;)

know -- 25 bad games, 20 mediocre games, and 5 good games. It's simple!

what ever you have to tell yourself to keep him as the defacto scape goat my man  ;)

Not a scapegoat, just a really disappointing season from a guy I wanted the C's to sign.

I think how we play in this 4th quarter is going to set the tone for the rest of the regular season.

A strong quarter in which we hang on and win would give us some pretty good momentum.

Another quarter where we blow the lead in the 4th would be devestating for the confidence of this team..

Lets hang on and win it boys!! Just keep Sheed onthe Bench!

You're talking about the whole NBA.  Let the men play!

Stern turned it into the WNBA

That may be a slight to the WNBA.   ;)

Pass, he stuck 3 tonight already.

I'm actually becoming quite comfortable with his elbow jumper.

Not that he's a good shooter, but he's starting to slowly climb up to "acceptable" from wither elbow, which seems to be his spot.

actually they have let our guys be very aggressive on defense for the most part. they call a bunch of perimeter fouls on the lakers though and it has opened up the floor for us.

Finally a consistent quarter of good basketball.

Good performance by the Celtics. Only one turnover. Amazing how much better they look when they take care of the ball.
