Pumps, the Original Dream Team, Fab Five, Duke/Kentucky, Jordan coming into his own, Barkley going to Phoenix, Shaq/Penny, Umass coming into their own, BC going to the Elite 8, NBA on NBC, Dee winning the slam dunk.....

What a time period.  One of my favs.

wow...you summed up my introduction to this beautiful sport....and in like the exact order too.

I was born a Celts fan and by the time i could actually understand life, Reggie was taking over and Dee became my fave before the dunk contest.  I loved the Huckaby, Eisley and Curley crew at BC...then the Lou Roe umass team., followed by Camby, Dingle, Bright, and Trevieso (who apparantly coaches in hyde park now, represent), and of course my traveling team rocked blue and gold jerseys with baggey shorts like the fab 5,,,i wanted to be jalen
