Don't know if this is a serious post or not but Nash and Bryant were voted in as starters in the guard positions.

Stern boosted Nash's votes to save the NBA from having to explain why McGrady made another unwarranted NBA ASG.  I just wish he would have done the same for AI.

I believe the same thing happened last year and Chris Paul made it in the end. I was wondering about why the same didn't happen with AI. It must be the combination of T-Mac's injuries and the number of great PGs in the West that makes them not want him to use up a spot.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

So then why the inconsistency?

The trigger reaction to write everything off as "Stern Conspiracy Theory" is pretty overblown and overused IMO.

Agreed. The fans saw the T Mac was on the verge of starting, the media made the hype that fans shouldnt be voting...So the fans were smart and voted Steve Nash.

My comment was partially tongue and cheek and partially what I believe.  Although I have no problem whatsoever if it was manufactured.  Nash also has a boat load of fans north of the border where as McGrady's fans (voted for him) did so because of him being on Yao's team and Yao not being available to pick.

Pretty funny.  No offense if you didn't intend it to be.
