  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
We escape Sacramento with a win.

A big thanks to Sacremento for doing everything possible to give us this win.

Ok.  I can deal with a rusty getback game from the All-Star break.  But other than some stellar bench play, not many promising things happened that game.  The real test will be this back-to-back.  Hope we're ready...

Good game!

THe Celtics ground it out and got a win they had to get.

I'll take it and move on to the next game.

Cheers.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

A win on the road against a team that has a winning record at home, with none of the starters playing 34 minutes or more? I'll take it and be happy with it.

Most important game of the trip I think.  At least their defense was pretty decent.

Sheed and Daniels played very well.

  • GOT IT!!!
we did not win that game, the kings lost it.

Neither team looked very good. That's to be expected from a lottery team though. I just don't know what to say about the C's.

Well the C's managed to pull out a win which is definitely better than another loss.

The starters were not good for the most part as Rondo was terrible, Pierce was off, Ray was off, KG played hard but can't finish and Perk was just awful.

Good effort by Rasheed and the bench to beat a terrible Kings team.

Obviously nothing has changed though as the C's played pretty much the same as they have in recent weeks.  Tonight they just managed to hang on but the problems this team has are still right up front for everyone to see...

I honestly think he was unscored upon except for an early 3 by Greene.

He should get the ball in the post more. Good stuff happens when he gets the ball, whether it's a good look or a nice pass.

Sloppy win, but i'll take it and to me the most important thing was they gave effort for 48 minutes.

Game could have gone alot smoother and with better execution, but unlike the previous 3 weeks, i never felt that effort on the celtics part was an issue, agree?

Celts win.  That's good, right?  ;)

You know it!  I'd rather sit through a tough game to watch and win than a tough game to watch and lose.  And in this case I could only follow the game thread for most of the 4th -- I definitely needed a W for a better night's sleep!

i can't explain the issues with the starters....they were awful. i thought effort was ok but the look slow and a step behind. starters have to play better
