  • Rondo = Good
Wow, it took the other team missing 6 straight free throws for us to beat this team.
ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

It took us missing 20 layups for this to be a close game

Is that supposed to be better?

Of course the C's give up a 3 there when that is the ONE thing they didn't want to do.  Just like the Clipper game, the Orlando game, etc...

At least they finally fouled instead of allowing another 3 pointer that's progress.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
At this point anyone who thinks that the celtics dont need to make a big trade, and shake this team up is an idiot.
This team reminds me alot of how the patriots were this year. We all just expected them to "figure it out" as the season went on and during the playoffs, and we all know how that ended. I can see the same happening with this team if danny doesnt make a change by thursday.

you're probably right.  the Celtics / Magic games do seem rather reminiscent of the Pats game against the Colts this year.

a first round embarrassment wouldn't surprise me at all

There's merit in this comparison, for sure.  But you also can't make a panic trade that hurts your long term competitiveness.  I'd love it if they could flip Ray for Iggy, but there isn't much point taking on a ton of bad contracts for a Monta Ellis type who isn't going to help in the short or long run.

I think Plamb is right.  We are what we are.  Maybe Danny can work some magic and make us a championship favorite again, maybe we're in for an early playoff exit.  But I look at the Knicks and see what panic trades and bad deals can do to a franchise.  You play for banners.  But if it's not in the cards for this year (and if the Cavs get Stoudamire it might be game over regardless), you have to position yourself for Rondo's prime.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

  • GOT IT!!!
You want evidence the KG of old isn't playing right now that was it, so tentative.

KG has a double double. This is the best he's rebounded since he's been back... what do you want?

For him to not look like a robot playing basketball. I won't get that though.

Celts win.  That's good, right?  ;)

I can't believe that the Celtics won without Scalabrine.
