This is the most winnable game of the first 4 after the break.  0 for 4 is a possibility - if not a probability the way these guys are going.  Paging Paul Pierce...can you still play at all?

Well the Lakers were on a roll and beat the Kings on a buzzer beater at the Staples center...I'm sick of people thinking you need to blow out every bad team in the NBA. It's just not reality.

this is just another in a long line of big leads choked away..has nothing to do with blowing anyone out...it has to do with not giving games away

True but the C's don't blow anyone out anymore.

This shouldn't even be a game, the C's had so many chances to put the Kings away.

Well the hope that the C's would somehow come back from the All Star break full of energy, fire and determination hasn't panned out.

Playing a terrible team the C's have once again managed to turn a halftime lead into a 4th quarter deficit.  They let the Kings hang around long enough to find their shooting touch again.  They have gone stagnant offensively for the second half as usual.  Rondo and Pierce have been horrible tonight.

Well win or lose this game has shown that nothing really has changed for the Celtics.  The starters have no chemistry or energy.  The C's can't hold leads and can't even dominate the leagues worst teams anymore.

At least the Celtics are consistent.

Players like Jason Thompson kill us, over and over.

Young, long, athletic, energetic.  Everything the Celtics aren't.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

C's winning the battle of the boards

C's shooting 80% at the FT line

C's holding the Kings to 37% shooting, though Kings are helping

C's increased the lead two quarters in a row

C's scored 19 points in the 3rd quarter played mostly by the starters

C's have missed at least 10 layups/fast break chances

C's are playing against one of the leagues worst teams and the starters are not beating the Kings starters

Yet, who's winning?

I hope the Celtics --- they SHOULD be winning against a team that is 18-34 shouldn't they???
No they SHOULDN'T

You have to go out and win every night in this league

No team is a given win

Well if a 2 point lead against a terrible team for the Celtics after a nice break and having everyone on the roster available is considered a good thing then that just further illustrates how far the Celtics have fallen.

A team with 3 Hall of Famers and another All Star that has been struggling mightily in recent weeks should be able to turn it around after the break against a bad team shouldn't they???

Paul Pierce is 3 for 12 glad he won the 3 point shootout though that is really helping the team.

Why

Why should they

Are you privy to team medical reports that have them being 100% healthy

Pierce had surgery and sprained his foot

KG had a serious knee injury and surgery and reinjured the knee

Ray missed his last game with a bad back

Rondo is averaging huge minutes the last month

Ray Allen is no longer an All-Star nor does he play at that level

Same with KG who didn't deserve to be in Dallas

The Celtics are 9-13 in their last 22 games playing a team that is 13-12 at home this year

Right now, they may be playing better ball than we are

Expecting blowouts every night and ****ing about not winning huge is futile

If you just accept them for what they are, a team hurt and past their prime, your game watching experience will be a lot more enjoyable
Pick 2 Knicks

SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham

Defense and bench contributions are the only positives in this mess.  Otherwise the same crapola that occurred before the break is still happening....
