Wallace untouchable?

Looks like people who expected a 35 year old to put up 15 and 10 a night off the bench are unrealistic? 

Wallace has been fine, despite the absolute rail road job done here to lay every problem this team has at his doorstep.

He adds alot to this teams bench, and with marquis back, that bench should function much more effectively.

I mean, look how they did on Wednesday, Quis, TA and sheed were the only bright spots of the entire game.

True.  Plus he of all the players here is probably most guilty of coasting.  He'll pick it up in the playoffs, and unlike other years with Detroit, he won't be expected to dominate the series.

Yeah, we'd be dumb to trade Sheed unless we can get size back in return.  That is the reason I would not trade him but would trade Davis.  It seems people still overlook how important matches size for size will be come playoff time.

Yeah, this is what I was going to say. Sheed just isn't all that interested right now. When he wants to turn it on, he can- and I hope that happens at playoff time.

Wallace signed here to get a chance to win a ring when he had many other options (as did Daniels with a huge discount). If Danny were to trade Wallace (or Daniels) without giving them the opportunity to do what they came here to do It would be a bad look among NBA players and Agents.

I don't know about that. Rasheed has been given ample opportunity + the team is playing poorly.

I think Danny would be well covered here. I don't think there would be a backlash sometime in the future from prospective free agents.

I am sure there was a good faith agreement and discussion with Danny before Sheed signed that he wouldn't trade him unless Sheed was in favor of it. Danny may be vague in trade comments with the media so he doesn't cause problems for himself, however he would be a man of his word on this. Sheed isn't going anywhere nor should he. If you think Sheed is the reason we suck right now then you're not watching very closely. Only Rondo is playing better than he did last year. Everyone else is playing worse. That's our problem.

Unless someone in management feels that it would be "addition by subtraction."  Hard to say how they feel behind the scenes, but I wouldn't be surprised if after campaigning hard for him, then giving him a 3 year deal, they aren't thrilled with his apparent attitude/effort/physical condition.
