The Sophomore team is going to destroy the freshman's squad. There are so many potential MVP's it's hard to pick. I think Marc Gasol is going to have a huge night finishing on the guard's dribble penetration + posting up smaller players. So I'll go with him.

The participants list for the dunk contest and three point contest are underwhelming. They need to widen the field and go back to eight players in each tournament and do a better job picking the participants. I'm going to go with Shannon Brown for the dunk contest and Steph Curry for the three point contest. Tempted to pick Gallinari though.

I'd love to see them go back to the rookie game instead of rookie vs sophomores. Too many non-competitive games for a contest that is already struggling for intensity/effort/competitiveness.

I couldn't care less about the Horse competition or the skills competition.

The All-Star game is a toss up ... but I'll pick the East to win. Their starting five is immense and they have Bosh to come off the bench. So much talent at the top of their roster, a lot more than the West. I'd pick LeBron as the favourite to win MVP but have Durant as a darkhorse because he could pile up a lot of points in a short period of time.

-Sophomores win.
-Durant takes Horse. But by draining 28 footers, the cheap (but skillful) way out.
-Gallinari wins the 3

-Shannon Brown wins the Dunker.
-Nash takes skills. Too locked in right now.
-West wins ASG
-Durant MVP. No D=makes too many open shots.

Edit: Kevin Love for Soph. MVP. in a format like this, against that rookie roster, i bet he goes for a 15-12-8 or something.
