So according to this Rondo never responded regarding a Team USA invite.  I wonder why not.

He won't get a fair chance. CP3 and D-Will are a shoo-in. Chauncey Billups has better chance getting in than Rondo. Rondo is also dedicated to this team. I'm sure he'll work like crazy improving in the summer.

I don't think it's a big deal. If Rondo doesn't want to do it then he shouldn't.

If I were him I also woudn't do it considering nobody would give him an important role. I'd rather have my summer off.

He's still young enough that barring burning any bridges, he'll have a shot at the '14 World Championships or 2016 Olympics. (If he wants it)

Think about it.  Most of these guys tend to bow out after a gold medal or two.  Openings will pop up.  Also, take into consideration that Rondo will be the tender old age of 30 when the 2016 Summer Olympics occur.

I never want Rondo to turn 30. I want Rondo to stay the way he is now forever. Aging is a terrible thing.

Tell me about it.  I'm a little over 6 months shy of 30.
