He hasnt really improved his game since he got in the league. All that has happened is he has lost his footspeed. The dropoff has been dramatic.

He is slow like painfully slow. His speed is totally gone. He can still shoot. How has he developed his game though?

Pierce's defense will pick back up once he gets healthier.

- Average at best defender at best out of college

- Not a good Three point shooter out of college

- Limited mid range game out of college

- much better FT shooter now than he was coming out off college.

- Not that good of a passer, or unwilling to pass.

I mean, he was already a good rebounder and scorer coming out of kansas, he's improved vastly in the two knocks on him then, defense and shooting efficiency...Not sure what else he could have improved for you.

Sure he can shoot. His defense only improved once Kg and Ray got here. His offensive game is the same as its always been. His moves are very predictable combined with a total lack of speed( and no its not just his foot cause the same thing happened last year.) He doesnt post-up cant drive very well(or when he does he takes a beating only slowing him down more.)
Where is the postup? thats where he could do his most damage drawing fouls on the block. Where? Where?

Paul has tons of miles on him, you can't be an NBA peak player for ever-- you start to decline eventually, sometimes it happens quick, its happening for Paul
