It is really weird that he's not with the team.  I don't think I've seen somebody not come to a game because they have back spasms.

With back spasms it would be very uncomfortable to sit court side in the same position for a few hours.

Hrm I suppose so.  Still, it seems like when players are injured they are usually with the team.

Not to poo poo a good conspiracy theory, but is it that unlikely that if he couldn't play in the last game before the all star break they'd just send him home to be with his family and rest for a nice time period?

Yeah, but they said he was a shootaround this morning and that he currently is watching the game from his hotel room so...

If they lose, which would be another blown double digit lead resulting in a loss, then It would be foolish to say that this team does'nt need a major shakeup....this is getting rediculous

The thing is, does changing your shooting guard change the fact that the rest of the starters are acting like they don't want to be there?  I doubt it.  This team needs a change, but it isn't a roster thing, it is an attitude thing.

The Cs starters have 8 points in the 2nd half. I don't care whether it's a shooting guard, a 3, a 4 -- but someone has to show up and play for this team regardless of how many years they have on their contract.

At least the positive from tonight is that Ray can't be blamed for the loss...

The negative? He will probably get traded. :'(

Love what Ray has done for us, but good. We're not doing jack as currenly contructed. We need some new faces around here, and who knows? Maybe if he is traded he'll be bought out and resign with us for the season.

Yeah but it pains me to see him go. If we were talking in terms of who needs to go because of his poor play I would trade Paul before Ray in a hurry. Seriously, Paul is doing more bad than good to this team than Ray is.

But I understand it's a business, but it's just very unfortunate that Ray will likely be gone before next thursday.

I don't know Chris.  KG looks like he doesn't even belong on the court at this point.  He has no lift at all.  You're better off playing Scal.  Likewise Pierce, he just can't move right now.

I do think Perkins sucked.  Not sure what his problem is but he's nothing close to the guy we saw last spring.
