probably just giving ray an early start on his allstar vacation so he can be completely ready when he comes back.

What is intriguing is that Ray stayed in hotel room instead of going to the room.

Are back injuries hurting so much that you're better staying in your room than going to your team's bench?

It is really weird that he's not with the team.  I don't think I've seen somebody not come to a game because they have back spasms.

With back spasms it would be very uncomfortable to sit court side in the same position for a few hours.
