If we do trade him for Augustin we would be extremely thin in the front court. A gimpy KG , a lazy sheed and Perk just won't get it done. There HAS to be another trade coming. If we are trading BBD for a guard could it possibly open the door for Ty Thomas or Nocioni to join the C's?

Maybe danny swings Augustin, Ray and a pick to try and get kevin martin or Iggy if they can get a 3rd team involved.

i have already posted a bunch of trade ideas elsewhere.  I like the idea that the Bobcats want Sheed.  If we dump Sheed and Baby that could free up bigman minutes for Dalembert... or maybe we just get silly and make a play for Amare.  (Ray for Amare/JRich).

Beat writer Sam Amick says that there's no reason to think the Kings are motivated in the slightest bit to trade Kevin Martin The Kings would probably move Martin for a combination of young talent and expiring contracts, but they probably won't get that sweet of an offer. The Celtics have had legit talks, but if they're just offering Ray Allen that won't be enough. Look for the Kings to give their backcourt of Martin and Tyreke Evans some more time together some more time together. Feb. 9 - 6:54 pm e Source: Sacramento Bee

It says the Kings would probably move martin for expirings and young talent.

Could a package of Ray,Augustin, Bill walker and a pick(if needed ) for Kevin Martin + Nocioni be in the works?

Trading BBD and/or Sheed would open up room for Nocioni

Sacramento gets young talent and saves a ton of money.......

If this Augustin thing went down, I think they'd probably push their expirings hard on Chicago for Thomas.  It's a matter of debate whether Chicago would actually do this but I think the Celtics would go hard at it.

Wouldn't you have to wait to move Augustine like 30 dAYS OR SOMTHING?

That actually sounds plausible.  Augustin still counts as young talent and he makes a lot more sense alongside Tyreke (assuming he's the PG and Tyreke is the SG).  If we agreed to take on Nocioni or Udrih I could see it happening.

I would hope it does, because this team can't really afford to trade Davis for a PG right now, unless they are getting another big man elsewhere.

I don't want Brad Miller or my team... like at all. 4 year deals are also INSANE.

Ditto to the Brad Miller comment...Also. No way do the Kings do this trade... Seriously, some trades amaze me.

I like the idea of a three team trade though. Bobcats get Baby and Augustine is sent elsewhere to sweeten the pot. As long as anything involves trading Big Baby I am all in.

Trade BBD and then try to pick up Kurt Thomas on the waiver wire.  Sounds good to me.

I agree 100%. Moving BBD for Augustin would have to mean Danny has another trade lined up to get a back up big. All Chicago wants are expirings in return for Thomas. It's probably going to be a combination of Scal and House or TA if we do it. Warrick would be a good option too but I don't think we have anything MIL wants.

Who cares -- he's on the team sitting on the bench for 3 months. It's about salary match.

If not, then how about this:
