Do they do this on purpose? I don't see how you could coincidentally let the other team back in the game in the second half every single game. They have to be doing this on purpose. Maybe they're really good and they're trying to make teams think they aren't so good. They play the first half as well as they can just to make sure they'll be ready for the playoffs and then they play like garbage in the second half so they'll be underestimated when they get to the playoffs.

Maybe??

It's like the anti- 2008 club.

That club, you were surprised if a 12 point lead didn't balloon to a 20+ one in the third.

This team, I'd be more shocked if the 4th wasn't a dogfight due to a blown lead  :'(

maybe they just want to make the point that the magic were not that good, it was the celtics that were that bad

I have said it before and I will say it again -- this team is done. Win or lose tonight, they simply do not have enough to maintain the required effort during a game. Hopefully there will be some big trades soon so we can start the rebuilding.

And ANOTHER wide open 3 pointer --- the run is now 20-3 great effort C's.  Hoping to match the 25-2 run by the Magic in the last game.

It's almost unbelievable to watch this night after night.  The C's should be able to at least play hard and not allow this but they don't even seem to care anymore it's sickening.

Even the Hornets are good enough to beat the Celtics in the third.

This team clearly just doesn't get it.  Or, perhaps worse, maybe they do get it and they can't do anything about it.

TP  right on the money with this post

I haven't been watching, just tuning in now ...

Aren't New Orleans one of the worst rebounding teams in the league?

Embarrassing that the Celtics are getting out-rebounded by the Hornets.

Yea, don't bother calling a timeout..keep that smug look on your face...

you can't be serious right now... how about KG hit a free throw, how about Paul maybe stop fumbling the ball off of yourself, how about Rondo play defense, how about an offensive rebound?

Your right though, this is doc's fault... if he called a timeout it would have fixed everything.

Oy vey we can't weather these runs at home. I don't feel good about them doing it on the road. They need to get it together. Massive 3rd quarter collapses in consecutive games is unacceptable.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I believe in momentum. Doc and you don't.
