Forgot to mention that KG didn't play against Atlanta in two games, that we played them two times in back to back and got screwed by the refs big time in our second home loss against them, that we had a one point loss to the Lakers after getting a 16 point lead earlier, that the losses to Orlando came after leading them in Orlando by 16 and by 11 in Boston.

Sure, they are still losses at the end of the day, but the big leads and our domination for one half every time show that our struggles have more to do with a problem of focus, execution, coaching and mindset that our level of talent against the other good teams.

So relax, no need for a panic move, especially now that we finally have all our players healthy.

Sorry Drucci, but end results are all that matters. This team hasn't proven that it can maintain big leads or beat quality teams. If we hadn't won a championship 2 years ago we would've already been counted out of the hunt this year. I'm definitely not ready to throw the towel in, but I wouldn't say someone's panicking cause they don't think this team can win. To be honest, I don't think there's any reason to favor this team over LA, Clev, Orl, or Atl in a 7 game series.

There is a reason to favor this team over all the other contenders : this team is really, really talented at every position and is still an elite defensive team.

Doc summed up pretty well our current situation : he likes our team on paper but not "for real". He is right. We have the talent and all the pieces but we lack the mental toughness and the execution. Probably due to laziness or overconfidence, like we've witness these past few weeks.

However, it's much easier to fix a mental/attitude problem than a talent problem. Right now there are big causes for concern and I don't like the "we can switch it on whenever we want to" mentality but there are still plenty of time for this team to get back on track and start clicking once again.

Enough of the talking and the whining, let's start playing for 48 minutes and not 24.

The team isn't looking great, but you never know.  For instance, the '95 Rockets went 38-35 over their last 73 games (and 25-25 over their last 50) and still won a title.  This team still has the talent to beat anybody.
