I'm hoping he gives full effort in the playoffs.  I don't know how he's going to just turn it on, but I'm counting on it. :-\

i'd be curious to see if someone were to look back at film of his prior seasons and see what has went wrong...  but he stinks, and there's no way to sugarcoat it.

He's had his moments, and we won't know for sure until the playoffs, but overall, he's played far below expectations.

He isn't playing significantly worse than last season. He's been meeting my expectations for him.

I don't get the "saving it for the playoffs" option for someone playing 20 minutes off the bench.  An NBA player should be able to play hard for 20 minutes every game.  This is excusing the inexcusable.

Not just him. KG is stinking up the joint too. The difference KG at least tries. Rasheed lazy play is contagious. And the cancer is spreading fast.

Rasheed...Terrible

We gambled, hoping that a change of scenery, a "championship caliber" team, and teammates with good character would elevate his play from where it's been the last couple of years.

That gamble failed.  Rasheed is clearly not the player we hoped he would be.  Oh well.

If it helps any, I don't think it would matter.  A better Rasheed isn't going to get us a win in these games when we give up these leads.  You can't blame it on him.  Our team wins as a team, and loses as a team.  They've done a lot of the latter recently.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Sheed's game plan today:
1. Jack up some 3's
2. Why try blocking a shot when you can hack 80-90% FT shooters going to the basket
Sheed knows better than that

Seriously, I have half a mind to call the OP a Rasheed hater when our starters had a chance to extend our halftime lead of 11 and instead blew it. There is plenty of blame to go around, and I feel this topic implies otherwise.

I didn't know attempting 2 3's meant jacking them up. I'd figure that's low for Rasheed.

I'll take bad fouls, though.

Tp. For a 35 year old Power Forward. He is giving about what I expected. His hops are gone and he lateral movement isnt good. The problem with Sheed is that he doesnt give his FULL EFFORT every play. I think his lazy mentality has affected the team.

I was a fervent defender of Sheed early in the season but now... I'm starting to doubt and I want to believe that he's saving it for the playoffs but I still think it's too early to tell.

I think Doc doesn't use him in a proper way, also. Sheed should be playing big minutes against the opponent's 2nd unit, not against starters who are much quicker and younger.
