He doesn't stay with what is working, as in TA vs LA, he has a talented team, but cannot get them to turn it on at all......a coach is the one who finds a way to get the talent to turn on and work...you have the players..!

i never thought u had to make vets turn it on...

It's a really funny thing this season is, we are playing the same game night in night out, it doesn't matter is it NYK, NJN, MIN, everybody feels like they can get a W on account of the Celtics.
It's all in players minds, from the start. They need to get that look back.
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

- well that sucked

- Pierce, Allen, and Garnett look like a bunch of really good old guys. During the course of the game, they play well overall, but there are more and more of these little plays that they screw up that. Shots they NEVER would have screwed up before they now mess up on from time to time...and as the little mistakes mount, they hurt the team more and more. Allen's missed ft. Garnett failing to get that and-1 when Barnes fouled him. Both good examples of these little plays.

- Boy, wouldn't Glen Davis be great if he was 6'10?

- Rondo is far and away our best player. I now watch him with the same anticipation I watch Dwayne Wade with when he has the ball.

- This crappy regular season play will not go away. It will last until the playoffs. That's when our guys will finally go all out and try to show what they are "really made of". Unfortunately, I don't see that strategy working out. I don't think this is our year.

- However, I think there is hope for the future. Rondo is a real star.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

this has got to be rock bottom, right?

Celtics 2006-2007 was rock bottom.

i meant for the big three era...thought that could go without saying

Yeah I agree, about it going without saying, just trying to put the current woes into perspective. I don't know what the solution is for this team, but they shouldn't be this bad, or even close to it.

Agreed. With all of our veterans, we have at least 80 years of playing experience and numerous all star appearences. Teams like that should be smart enough not to give up leads to mediocre teams

WELL.....the first half showed we are a better team---I believe.

BUT, the C's believed it too---SO, they came out Soft as toilet paper to start the 2nd half....and Doc waited UNTIL it was tied to call a timeout and fix this---TOO LATE DOC-!!..You should be able to recognize your own team's mental state!

Didn't help that the refs decided at halftime that the game NEEDED to be closer--So,they called EVERY ticky tack foul on Boston, whilst letting several Orlando fouls go.

#1: Ray Allen getting fouled on the wrist just before Ryan Anderson makes that GREAT block.
#2 Pietrus fouls Glen Davis...BUT no, it's a Great block by the ENTIRE Magic Team--!!

But the game looks different from the bench also..you can see more. Sort of a micro vs a macro view...

It was ultimately in vain, but Rondo's 4th quarter D was fantastic: he really showed off his defensive potential.  Deflections, smothering man D, calculated gambles, speed to every loose ball.
2016 CelticsBlog Draft: Chicago Bulls

Starters: Rubio, Danny Green, Durant, Markieff Morris, Capela
Bench: Sessions, Shumpert, G. Green, T. Booker, Frye

Doc seems to know what the problem is....We think we are better than we are...the Players have an attitude==Lack of passion and hunger.
