Ugh.

Blow the team up. We're not gonna win any championships this year. We gotta avoid having another 5-10 years of irrelevance. Try and get 2 good years together at the end of Rondo's contract.

Well, I'm glad the Celtics' play that quarter made at least a few people happy, as they wear themselves out patting themselves on the back, saying what a terrible team we have.

roy -- sorry, but this team is not championship caliber. Are you happy with the way they are playing?

They played poorly in the third quarter.  However, I'm not going to ever be one of those fans who makes it their sole goal to whine and complain, and seemingly revel in the team's misfortunes.

Certain fans take no pleasure when the team is playing well, but they linger until the team starts to perform poorly, when they come out of the proverbial woodwork.

How anybody can enjoy seeing the Celts play terribly is beyond me, but for a few folks, they're enjoying this.

Count me as one that's not enjoying this at all. I'd like to think of myself as a fan that doesn't overreact to losses, etc., no matter how bad they are. Teams go through hot and cold streaks, injuries happen, and most things can be explained away.

But I've seen enough of the Celtics this season to realize that something is not quite well. Whether it's age, lack of intensity, or something else I can't think of, there's a problem, and it's NOT going away.

The way I look at it, this team has a 15% chance at winning a title. I'm not saying they can't do it with the current personnel (the people claiming there is a 0% chance are truly fair-weather fans) but I'm saying a trade should be made that'll improve the odds.

Lewis, clutch once again.

House's fault. Horrible defensive rotation.

Well they had everyone back today. Did not engender a great deal of confidence.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Worst thing about this loss to me, is that Orlando isn't that great of a team, I'd put Cleveland and Atlanta ahead of them. The C's are making mediocre teams look good, what does that say about the C's?

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
The Celts played three good quarters, but the third was so bad that it didn't matter.

I guess the positive spin is that it would be pretty much impossible to play any worse than that coming out of halftime.

Everyone back, and still a convincing loss to one of our bigger eastern conference foes.
