  • Doc Rivers kept Ray Allen's minutes down to 33 and Kevin Garnett's minutes down to 26, while making sure to keep bench players on the floor for important stretches of the game
  • Rajon Rondo's all around excellent play and shooting, if he keeps this up we are soon going to be hearing the last of him not having an outside shot
  • It wasn't pretty but the NBA doesn't give out style points and when the team had to pull away in the fourth, they did
  • Tonight a three game stretch of much much improved rebounding was turned into a four game stretch as the C's once again outrebounded their opponent
  • Only 12 turnovers, unbelievable!!!
  • We hds an extended Bill Walker siting and another Tony Allen start, okay, maybe tonight they sucked, but we got to see them in extended minutes
  • Ray Allen's there and then gone and back again jump shooting was back again in a very good and much needed way
  • The passing last night continues a recent trend of much improved inside ball movement during stretches of the game
  • The second half and fourth quarter play while frustrating at times was much improved once again from what we had seen for most of January
  • The bench as a whole had a very positive effect on the game
Pick 2 Knicks

SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D

Eddie House changing the game and having 3 pts stolen from him.

BBD played very well and will only be getting better.

Rondo makes at least 1 pass a night that no on in the league can make.

Grown Ups -20/10

So true about Rondo

With Chris Paul out for the year, there may not be a point guard in the league playing better all around ball or making better, prettier, stylish passes in the NBA

At least one. Every game there's at least one play where I tell my wife "that might not look that hard but you can watch every game this season without seeing anyone else do that".

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
The second half defense was good, as was the effort.  The Celts only allowed 32 points in the second half.

  • Rondo = Good

Yeah, the difference in scoring between the 1st half and the 2nd tells the whole story.  The Celtics weren't trying in the first.

I've been really encouraged with their second halves after the LA loss

Their third quarters have been better and over the last three games they have not collapsed in the fourth but have instead started to look more like the team from earlier this year

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

This has been the biggest thing to me.

I think KG has been huge with the teams slight improvements. He's been a lot more aggressive since the game against the Lakers. KG has been playing closer to the basket and has been creating his own shots unlike earlier in the year. He's brought some more balance to the offense, and I attribute-the improved ball movement and interior passing him being more involved on the offensive end. He still has to build strength in the leg, but his play has been encouraging.
