Last week it was Rashard Lewis blowing by KG for the game winner in Orlando, but tonight KG can't even stay with Humpheries on the Nets. He has blow by KG at least 3 times tonight off the dribble. Devin Harris even drove straight at KG and he could do nothing. His shot blocking is completely gone. Also missed an easy alley oop which is becoming to familiar these days.

I am extremely worried .....

Get ty thomas here fast, we need an insurance policy. Though without a healthy KG we won't win anything anyways.

The whole team looks terrible on defense.  They also look like they just don't care right now.

Everyone saw the Lewis drive but rationalized it by saying how quick Lewis is and that Sheed should have been there for the help.

But after seeing a plodding Humphries easily blow by KG twice for layups it's painfully obvious that he just doesn't have it.  Can't fault the effort of KG it's just the body won't cooperate anymore.

And he's nowhere near healthy, he favors the knee he had surgery on BIG TIME. He lands on and jumps off one leg. :-\

What I see is that KG has off nights and good nights. Doc talked about it earlier in the season and I think that's what we will have to accept now. KG will be OK in some games and not in others.

great.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I'd rather have a KG inconsistent in terms of game shape that not KG at all or at 50% KG every time, if you ask me.

True.  Hopefully, those bad games become fewer and more far between.  I we can get a good KG roughly 80% of the time going into the playoffs, I like our title chances.

Here's the problem:  In the playoffs we'll need KG to have a "good night" pretty much every game.

Yeah but I really think KG will only get better as the season goes on. We will see what happens, of course, but even a diminished KG can still has a huge impact in the playoffs, and if all our other players are healthy, it will likely make up for his deficiencies.

the good thing about the playoffs is that there is at least 1 day off in between each game.
