Thats what i am but then i watch this video and it makes me feel better. When Daniels comes back this team can be really good. I am hoping Pierce is the last injury we have on this team and this team can start rolling with the healthy lineup. But here is the Video! Enjoy!

That's  a great mix!  So much makes me not want to trade this guy.  I honestly think none of the trades mentional with the bulls would aid us in contending.  I honestly can't think of one that would.

Yup...That did the trick for me too! TP for you sir.

I cannot wait for this guy to get hot again. It will happen. It has to happen!

This video should go on the front page every day until Feb. 19th.

Nice video.  Shooting really is an artform that he has perfected.

Now, if Ray played defense every game like he plays against Kobe then I'd be against most any trade for him.  OR, if he was able to successfully create his own shot off the dribble then I'd also be against most any trade.

However, I think if the right deal comes along then Danny should jump on it.  Over the next few years we would be thankful he did.

Ray in his prime was freakin awesome.  Possibly the smoothest player I had ever seen.  In his prime he was possibly better than Paul Pierce.

He's still pretty solid for an old man.

I still hope we could do a trade of Monta Ellis & Maggette for Ray Allen, Bill Walker & JR Giddens. Somehow I think Nellie could make those guys players in his system. And if Philly is looking to start all over I would at least see if they would be willing to do a Andre Igoudala & Elton Brand deal for Ray Allen, Glen Davis, Bill Walker & JR Giddens deal. That would give us a prolific punch off the bencg with Rasheed Wallace & Elton who is a offensive rebounding machine. And those guys are very interchangable with Perk & Garnett. And those deals do work in trade checker.

I too love Ray Allen...BUT, if we keep Ray--it means that THIS is the LAST year of our Championship window (financially speaking)...Trading Ray for 2 good young guys extends us for another 2 years after this--maybe more.

I hope people realize that he will rebound this season.  He might not end up playing defense like he did two years ago, but he will start shooting again.  Then, look out.  He will win some games for us, and likely in the playoffs too.

I don't know that it's true. What if we do something like bring back Ray and sign Mike Miller?

it's not trading Ray Allen because he stinks - he is a good player still.  But he also is a huge trade chip ... if he can bring some youth and contract stability to ride into the post KG era, you would be irresponsible not to look at it a little bit.

But yes, the team's larger problem is poor 3 point shooting and a lack of bench strength.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
If and when we do trade Ray, I really hope Danny sits him down and explains to him that he is welcome back after the season in a deal similar to Rasheed's (three years at the MLE) and that he means a lot to this franchise and that the only reason we are trading him is because of an opportunity to stay strong for years to come, not because he isn't productive anymore...

The team's larger problem is KG's knee. Ray's contract is a great trade chip but we can still contend next year if we don't trade him.
