Quote
Marquis Daniels confirmed before Wednesday's game that he will return to Celtics practice on Thursday for the first time since having surgery on his left thumb in early December. Coach Doc Rivers said Daniels could possibly return on Sunday against Orlando but the more realistic date is next Wednesday in New Orleans against the Hornets. Rivers said he will not rush Daniels back just because Paul Pierce is questionable and day-to-day with a left mid-foot sprain.

I dunno if it's been posted yet, but I feel it's worth while if he could play against the Magic, rusty or not...and I'd hope he'd keep in shape since his legs weren't injured.

Really good news. I hope Marquis doesn't rush back while not 100% healthy though.

I'm really looking forward to see him Quis play, I enjoyed watching him early in the season and it will be cool to see him back, and I think we will how much of a difference he makes for this team (maybe not immediately since he has to get back in rythm but it should be the case soon).

A video of Marquis interviewed after practice :

"They did a good job of running me. They turned me into Forrest Gump a litle bit." ;D

Quis sounds really excited about his return, good to see. :)

I love quisy's game for sure.  He definitely has a knack for getting shots around the rim and slashing. I don't think we even saw him at his peak here yet.  Much as I've been frustrated with docs management lately, I must say Im intrigued to see how we look, and move forward, with Pierce back and all hands on--after the trade deadline.

crazy that a thumb keeps people out that long.  Can't they just tape that crap up?  Doesn't Kobe play with a bunch of broken fingers?

Your fingers work with and because of your thumb.  Your fingers don't work without you thumb.  Tape your thumb and see what you can do...
