               Boston gets - K Hinrich
                             R Gay
                             J Salmons
                             M Conley
                             R Hibbert
                             T Murphy

              Chicago gets - R Allen
                             B Scalabrini
                             E House

              Memphis gets - R Rondo

              Indiana gets - K Perkins
                             G Davis
                             M williams
There is no particular reasons why anyone does this deal. I'm just having a little fun or distraction while the losses start to mount. I hope everyone heals up by the playoffs.

I would quit school, break my computer, sell my TV, use the money for a plane ticket to Madagascar, and begin my life anew making 5 cents a day mining rubies.  Or whatever they do there.

I suppose our goal would be to tank for the lottery the next 5 years and have the biggest season to season drop in wins ever?

This post was for fun but with PP broken foot, RR can't hit free throws or jump shots consistantly, kP journeyman center not a scorer or very athletic. Heck RA has been their most consistant player  even thoughhe has lost a step or two. Maybe rebuilding is not out of the question.I would hope it won't take five years.

Even with plenty of talent from the lottery the Hawks have taken 4 or 5 years just to get to the point where they are more than a middle of the road team.  It takes a while to build youth, no matter how much talent you have.  Safe to say the Hawks got lucky, too, considering their picks actually worked out really well.

Their team also suffered in mediocrity for years before that in order to get them in position to draft.

Our team would be extremely lucky to be able to rebuild and have a strong team (capable of 4th seed or higher) within 4-5 years, even with Rondo and Perk as building blocks.

Probably because that Hawks blew some chances in the lottery. They really didn't draft that well.  They still don't have a franchise player.  The closest thing to a franchise player is Joe Johnson and he was traded for.
