You know we are in trouble when;

1. Rasheed takes a 40footer –and missed - right after he made
   a  3pointer.....remember AW?

2. You see PP with no lift from his left leg

3. Tony Allen had the quarter of his career to make us
   competitive.

At the end of the day, we are loosing games because; 1. we don’t have a reliable closer anylonger, 2. we can’t rebound.

feel free to add your own   ;)

When your down by 1 with 7 seconds left and your coach draws up a play for you to shoot a three-pointer.

I thought the play was well drawn up and well executed.  Ray just missed the shot.

An open Ray Allen 3-point shot is a great look.  Just because it was a 3 and we were only down 1 means nothing.

He also rushed the shot and didn't have his normal follow through on it.

It would have been a great look if Ray had been shooting well, but he has been horrible the last 5-10 games.

Yeah nothing was wrong with the play he just missed the shot. But still once again shouldn't have came down do that. We had a lead and blew it again.

When Doc makes coaching decision based on this:

Doc said BOS "went back and forth" on whether to have Tony Allen guard Kobe at end instead of Ray Allen, but wanted "a star guarding a star"

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

You know we are in trouble when:

1. we take the ball out of Rondo's hands.
2. any time Ray Allen's asked to guard the other team's best player (I thought that was Paul's role?)
3. Perk picks up 2 cheap fouls in the 1st quarter
4. Bennett Salvatore is doing our game
Folly. Persist.

Ray did a fine job in the last few minutes on defense.

I agree. I just don't like the decision making process. Play Ray Allen because he's doing a fine job on defense or offense but not just because he is or once was a "star".

You forget the refs, they're much more likely to allow Ray to play tough defense because he is a "star".

Considering he sat Ray repeatedly this year when his backup (either Daniels or Tony) is getting it done defensively I think Doc is very aware of his liabilities.

Kind of like they let Paul push off on offense because he is a star. :D

Not when the guy has been cold as ice all game.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Not when the guy has been cold as ice all game.

He was ice cold during the entire game against the Blazers, yet the Celtics kept giving him the shots he wanted, and he finally made the last one to give us the lead back.

Shooters keep shooting and I'd rather see Ray shoot the game-winning basket, even if he is ice cold, than Pierce going on an iso since it results in dumb turnovers all the time now.

I dont like the 3ball in that sitcho--I get the feeling Paul was trying to get ray off---set him up for a heros ending and stem the tide on the trade pressure....I dont understand why this team insists on forcing the threechuk into the offense.  this is not a strength for this team.
