Well I'm not sure Chicago would agree to the trades earlier suggested but maybe just maybe:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yj9gf9cBoston Sends: House, Shelden Williams, and Tony Allen
Boston Gets: Salmons, Taj Gibson
Look at it this way: Salmons backs up Ray-Ray and Rondo While PP can FINALLY rest. TA and House play about 35 minutes a game combined, and Salmons plays 33. When Quis gets back and Taj takes over TA's role behind PP, Salmons can relax and play under 30, or if he wants can stay constant. Any of the junk 12 minutes Sheldon gets can be replaced with Big Baby taking 10ish of them, and Taj taking 2ish. The rest of the time he'll back up PP and KG, and be an extreme help in rebounding. Basically, we get rest, get a bandage for the rebounding problem, youth, and someone to reliably distrubte and run the offense while Rondo sits. We lose some post play and defense from Tony Allen and a bunch of bricks in the form of Eddie for an Accurate 3 point specialist with decent defense and a young gun who can punish you in the post.
Chicago saves about a million bucks when you don't consider luxury for Tony Allen who could slow the likes of Ray Allen and Vince Carter assuming he doesn't act stupid. They also get House, who can provide experience, but would need him to shoot a little better. Shelden has LOTS of potential, intruiging for them. If they want they can have our draft picks. I just want this to happen.
Then again I think I'm a homer and overestimating the values of TA, Eddie, and Williams, but hey if the rapis.. I mean lakers could get Gasol for nothing, who knows!
What do you think?
