Or at least switch minutes with Baby.  At least Baby hustles and even at his size, is a better rebounder than Sheed.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
never happen...

you just need to change the title of your thread to "post-up sheed" - that's all.

Problem is, right now Davis cannot score. The bench is AWFUL.

Sheed has been pretty bad, but Baby is at best equivalent.  Both are inefficient offensively and slow defensively.  We just need Sheed to start shooting at last years levels.  That's our best non-trade hope for back-up big improvement.

Sheed is just part of the problem.  The entire bench is God-awful right now.  Baby isn't providing anything, Sheed isn't playing well, Eddie can't shoot, Scal can't play (but Doc plays him anyway), TA... has actually been the one decent player in my opinion.  Fortunately, he's the one most likely to lose playing time when Marquis comes back.   ::)

Doc Rivers surrendered tonight's game when he allowed the Celtic scrubs to play against Atlanta's five best players for nearly 6 minutes at the start of the fourth quarter. This is just another example of how Doc refuses to make in game adjustments with the rotation.

Oh yeah, now that I got that off my chest, Wallace has sucked all season, and so has the rest of the bench. For that matter, Paul Pierce is the only player worth watching. The rest of the Celtics might as well quit.

As bad as Sheed has been, BBD has been much, much, much worse.

Every time I think Sheed can't play any worse, he goes and jacks up another three.

It won't happen, but yeah, I would.

Sheed is just too slow for today's game. He should be playing situational minutes, when there's a favourable matchup out there.

I think Davis is a better defender than Wallace now. Obviously by leaps and bounds at the 4 (although he is not that good there), but also at the 5.

Sheed is lazy. Honestly, despite playing well in last year's series with Orlando, I just don't think Baby is as good as we think.

I'm with you, Bankshot! Put BBD in as first man and give him some minutes, pass him the ball more often and let's see what happens. I think the nay sayers would be pleasantly surprised. He is hustling and getting much better on defense.
Rasheed is also an important part of our team and I like him.
I want to keep him as our second.

I was totally on board with the Rasheed signing, because i thought, there's no way he could be worse than Mikki or Patrick. Obviously, he is better than the two of those clowns, but Rasheed has been a major disappointment, and i think he is throwing off the team chemistry. I would trade Sheed straight up for Leon Powe if he was healthy.

TP, so would I. It's called "intangibles"- skill level and talent and stats aren't everything. Although Rasheed certainly isn't a stiff, and I'm still hoping that he'll start shooting a better percentage, just not very optimistic.

Same here.  I didn't anticipate such a steep drop in shooting efficiency.  If anything I was hoping his %s would get a little bump from getting all the open looks that the C's offense generates for big men.
