Rondo. Our motor. Our failing motor.

Good night.

C's MOTTO should be: Rondo attacks,we win...Rondo walks,we lose.

i have been tough on sheed and rightfully so but rondo has been brutal the last 2 nights.
Huh?
Rondo was poor tonight, but he was very solid against the Magic.  11,8 and 7 with the go ahead shot in the 4th.  He would have been the hero if Redick missed the 3.

Rondo and Ray Allen need to step up their games.

I think Doc has to start considering playing Scal more minutes as the backup PF. Sheed/Davis is too slow.

  • Rondo = Good

And yet we would kick this team's butt in the playoffs...

I wouldn't say that.  This team really seems to have our number.

Where is Rajon Rondo? $55 mil and 2 straight no shows. **** Rondo

I wouldn't go that far...ATL and ORL are 2 teams that know how to play him and have shot blockers down low...LA does the same thing. It's interesting how it is three games in a row that he sees the defenses he hates, and it is also our fellow contenders.

All the contenders know how to play him.

If they didn't they probably wouldn't be contenders.

Rondo's numbers last night look good, but he only played about 15 minutes total last night. And, Ray Allen, after one good game, returned to his bad ways tonight.

boston wins one round in the playoffs and gets bounced with the current team they have...no trolling or baiting here...just not good enough to beat the cavs, hawks

One on one basketball doesn't take you anywhere in the playoffs. And I think Marquis would do a good job of slowing down Crawford and Johnson.

Yeah.  We may very well be the 4th seed when all is said and done, unless they really turn things around.

If the Bobcats end up as the 5th seed we could be in for a first round exit.  Even the Heat might be a tough matchup.

What are you talking about?  He was pretty darn good against the Magic (Pierce and KG were the big goats there).

He was poor tonight, but he shouldn't be scapegoated.  He's been the most consistent C all year.

The story of tonight's game is simple:

All our starters finished on the + side of +/-, all our bench finished deep into the - side of the +/-.

How Glen Davis can be -19 in 13 minutes is beyond me.

Yea, despite the stats, I don't feel Rondo played well last night. I don't think it's because of effort, though. I just think he sucks against teams that play off of him by 10 feet and have the shot blockers to not get burned by it.

We got old on purpose three years ago thinking we'd compete for titles in the short term.  We did, then injuries/contract restrictions took their toll.  It's the price we pay for success.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'd rather be in our position than the Hawks' fans any day--sure, they Hawks would probably take the C's in a 7 game series (they're a nightmare matchup), but they won't get by orlando or the cavs.  You play for rings. The celts got theirs, and the risks have caught up to them. We're not title favorites, but perspective -- as frustrating as January has been, it's sure no 1995.  Or 2004.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."
