Ainge assembled a great team. Doc is just terrible coach.

This team's not great.  Its an average NBA team right now.

Give me a break. 3HOF, top 5 PG, a good center. Doc is a terrible coach. He doesn't manage well.

Honestly, the Celts have no one but themselves (Sheed and Perk) to blame for hte hate from the refs. It's not right, but I am sure every ref despises Perk and Sheed. Shut your mouths and playing the freaking game.

how do i say this? that is 100% wroing.

players play.

refs ref (often poorly)

the refs are supposed to be unbiased. and if they are holding grudges, they should be fired.

sheed is a jerk and no one dislikes him more than me, but that T tonight was  a bad call compounded by a idiotic T. that ref should be fined, but we all know that will never happen with David "head in the sand" stern in charge.
"Maybe now you'll never slime a guy with a positron collider, huh?"

The first-tikme All Star has not been awful the last two nights, but he needs to play a lot better if this team is going to win.

ok...lets reevaluate the goals of this team....

1. i honestly think there is ZERO chance they can catch the cavs...they will be 6 games out after tonight and this team is showing zero signs of life vs good and poor teams

2. win the division. that assures you of the 3 seed

3. make a legit move...trade scal, ray, walker, baby...eddie....dont care...improve this team somehow...and do it soon.

4. i think we can all agree that january has been an absolute disaster for this team.

5. gotta get younger

we need drastic changes, maybe we can beat Orlando because they suck big, but I can't see HOW WE WILL BEAT HAWKS, there is no way on earth we can beat Hawks in playoff series, our team is pathetic against them every single game, and the way how Cleveland rebound from the slow start they have I can't see us beat them too

I'm honestly shocked that there aren't more posts about the referees here. They literally poured gasoline onto the fire with that bogus Rasheed foul/technical sequence.

The T was bogus but Rasheed made it clear since he stepped on the court that he didn't want to play tonight. See the silly turnovers, the silly fouls, the lack of defense, etc. I'm with the refs on that one unfortunately. When you play with no heart or effort whatsoever you don't argue calls.

This HAS been a really one-sided reffed game...Zaza is Allowed to do whatever he wants with NO calls...that Offensive foul on Rasheed was total BS....Hawks getting away with tons of grabs---but THESE REFS are caught up in the fan excitement...they SUCK!!

I can't emphasize enough how much Wallace is killing this team.  He's supposed to be the 6th man.  He's a 6th man who either refuses or is incapable of hustling defensively and the entire unit breaks down because of this.

The move to get him to date has been a disaster. And the worst part is the C's are stuck with him.

Talking about the 3 seed, have any of you noticed that all of the sudden, the Raptors are only 6 games behind?

Yea, drucci: Dominique is brutal. He might be worse than the Cavs color guy, and that is saying a lot. He even made it awkward when he said how bitter he was about not making the nba top 50 of all time list.

And I agree that Rasheed needs to shut his mouth, but the referees never ever give him a call and even call him on bogus calls. They clearly don't see the game 50/50 when he is in and it's not fair to him or the team. I don't care if he argues after: they DO NOT CALL IT FAIR AND SQUARE. There is a bias, and there is no doubt about that.

I would highly recommend the version of Dickens' Great Expections with John Mills, playing now on TCM.  Definitely a classic.

I am wondering about Rondo too --- tonight is the kind of game where his youth and energy is much needed.  He had 26 points last time the C's played the Hawks but tonight has been invisible.  He is the one young, energetic player the C's have but tonight he looks a step slow and lethargic as the rest of the team does.  Very strange...

Oh God. I just felt like Allen Iverson would look good here for a second. Someone talk me out of that thought...

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
You know we have an athletic young guy on the bench. Maybe, tonight, he'd be worth a look.

If we keep playing like this we might get a good look at him.
