What are the odds KG plays tomorrow night and what are the odds we keep the game within 15 points if he does not play? Or, even if he does play for that matter, as right now the Hawks own the C's. Think about it, The C's have two wins total in 7 games against the Hawks, Cavs and Magic.

There are good games and there are bad games coming back from injuries.  A few nights ago at the end of the Clippers game, he stayed with Baron Davis on the break and swallowed him whole.  Had KG looked like that tonight, Shard never makes it to the basket.

A couple of nights ago against Portland, you could have put me in a Blazers uniform and I could have scored on Ray.  Tonight, he played very good D on Vince - and that was supposed to be the most worrisome matchup between us and the Magic.

Back away from the edge.  Players just don't have it some nights.

And the Hawks Still can't beat ORL or CLE. And have yet to prove that they can beat us in a Seven Game series.

Matter of fact...has ATL Ever beaten Boston in a series? Not even in the Tree Rollins days, lol.

Let KG sit tomorrow...I still wouldn't count Boston out. I'm not being disrespectful to ATL, but this same team took a healthy ORL to seven games last yr, without KG or Powe.

We just need our swag back. And learn once again how to put teams away.

Here's the thing: how many nights are we gonna have where everybody has it?

We're going to need quite a few of those nights in the playoffs if we want to make it to the finals, let alone win the championship.

That's another one of the solutions to The C's problem -- they just need their swag back. Add that to regular season games don't mean anything and it's only January, which replaced it's only December. I wish for all the world that this team was a real contender this year, but I see old, tired legs and damaged bodies.

Everyone has made good points in this thread, mostly defending his injury...........

Face it, he has been dragging that leg every game since he has been back and was dragging it before the "new injury"! Something is up IMO.

...times like these when I wish the NBA didn't have salary caps, lol.

Hopefully after the Lakers game Kevin can get some rest so we aren't feeling depleted at the end of the season...Unfortunately that might mean more playing time for Paul Pierce. however if our focus is to stay healthy for the remainder of the season then we may be able to win some playoff series in less than 7 games. The faster we win a playoff series, the better, regardless of home-court advantage or not.

I agree with what some of you are saying, dragging your leg has nothing to do with getting in shape.  KG is what, 33?  He's been in the league since he was 18.  Your body has only so many miles and KG's are coming to an end.  Its tough to admit but I'm close to accepting he's done and will never be more than a supporting piece, then a main piece on a contender.  I mean some guys can play into their late 30's and early 40's but a lot of them went to college so they end up being able to play to a later age because they were in college, where they were playing about 50-60 games less then KG was at the age 18-22.

I thought we should have just kept him out until after the all star break and go from there, but its clear he's not going to be 100% this season let alone 80-90% which is where I think he'd have to be in order for us to have a shot this year.  Right now in my opinion hes more close 50-60% healthy and that's trouble.
