I'm changing my feeling on this.  I was originally not excited, but I think it woudl be a great move.  First and foremost, the kid knows how to win and that's important.  he can play various positions while learning QB from one of the best.  It would not shock me at all to see this happen.
I wouldn't mind if we drafted him in the 4th. Even ignoring all the knocks on him, drafting a qb early is foolish with the number of needs this team has.

Is he going to bulk up and play TE? because then i'd be excited.

He doesn't have the tools to be a great QB in the NFL. unless some team drafts him and then has the cajone's to put in an option offense. then he could be the one to prove the cynics wrong and bring that to the pro's full time.

In fact, Miami should do this. immediately. Tebow-Brown-Ricky would be a pretty nasty base for a triple option attack.

Some not so good news for Tebow fans from Todd McShay:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft10/insider/news/story?id=4855878

PRACTICE NOTES
Monday (1/25/10): Day 1 was not a good one for Tebow. The concerns we had coming in were all magnified today. He was out of rhythm, missing receivers low and high and fumbling snaps while also struggling to read defenses and use proper footwork when dropping from under center. He remained positive, though, continuing to accept coaching and showing the same leadership qualities that helped define his college career. We'll have a keen eye on Tebow's progress this week and whether he can correct the biggest issues surrounding his game.
Tuesday (1/26/10): When he quit thinking too much, Tebow seemed to be more comfortable with the tempo of his drops, hitting his back foot and driving off it. He still did not get deep enough in his drops, though, and his accuracy was still very inconsistent. He missed within the strike zone all day and sailed some passes over the middle, which he will not get away with at the next level. And unless he corrects his elongated delivery he will continue to have issues. A clear example came today when Tebow eyed a receiver over the middle and his long release allowed time for Miami LB Darryl Sharpton to change direction, break on the pass and get his hands on the ball.
Wednesday (1/27/10): On the plus side, Tebow threw the deep ball with good velocity and flashed the ability to drop it in over the receiver's shoulder with touch. We're seeing good progress with his footwork and he is slowly improving in that area, but we are seeing no progress on his elongated release. He continues to drop the ball to his hip when throwing, which allows defensive linemen time to get their hands up and defensive backs time to break on the ball. And while Tebow can strike deep he hesitated at times and was late on throws, and that problem showed up in 7-on-7 drills today. Tebow tried to hit a receiver down the middle and while the play was open initially the ball did not arrive on time and both the corner and safety were able to make a play on the ball. His inability to change pace also showed up today when he rolled out and tried to hit WR Riley Cooper in the flat but sailed he ball over Cooper's head because he rifled it into the flat rather than dumping it off with touch.
Thursday (1/28/10): Tebow's struggles continued into the final day of practice, having a hard time reading the defense, anticipating the open receiver and getting the ball out on time. He was late on everything. And while he has shown some improvement in his footwork during the week there is still too much developing do be don for him to be able to function under center at the next level in the near future.

SUMMARY
Final Grade: D+ Tebow came to Mobile with a chance to prove he can be an effective NFL quarterback, but if he could go back in time he would likely choose not to come to the Senior Bowl. Tebow did show good arm strength, handled the media frenzy well and even played through a case of strep throat, but he also put all of his weaknesses on display in a setting that did nothing but magnify them. In a group of merely adequate quarterback prospects Tebow ranked near the bottom and we walk away from Mobile believing he might never be an NFL quarterback. He will have to be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up to have a chance , and we cannot remember one NFL quarterback who ever had to retool his entire game before finding success in the NFL. Teams that might have been considering Tebow in the late first or somewhere in the second round now have to re-evaluate. We have not spoken to a single talent evaluator who believes Tebow can develop into the kind of quarterback Mark Sanchez, Matthew Stafford or Joe Flacco is right now. The learning curve is just too steep in almost every area. We cannot find a way to give him any higher than a third-round grade, and even then we envision him as nothing more than a Wildcat or short-yardage quarterback who will maybe move to H-back. Overall, Senior Bowl week could not have gone worse from an on-the-field standpoint.

I'm love Tebow's intensity and intangibles, I hate his lack of skills to play qb at the next level. I also hate his religious zealotry as well as the fact that he is doing a pro life commercial during the super bowl. All those being said I think if we could get him in the fourth he would be a good option to bring in to run the Wildcat, play some h back, te and fullback.
