Doc, put KG back in!

Yeah Orlando it's nice not to have a big deficit after the 3rd quarter was just illustrating a very clear point how it was disappointing they weren't up more.

But I don't think too many people would say 21 points is a good offensive quarter under any definition.

Depends on the pace of the game. It's good when you shoot 60%. How can you call 60% shooting a bad quarter?

That's what make this board interesting different opinions -- most would say that when shooting over 50% for a game at home against an average team at best that being up single digits is disappointing.  Scoring 21 points in a quarter which is an 84 point pace when the team normally scores almost 100 is not adequate. Having only 71 points at home in the 4th quarter illustrates a glaring lack of production but some would disagree apparently.
Run and gun basketball doesn't keep your opponent below 20 points in defense. If you want 100 points a game, go see the Suns. If you want stifling defense, we're the bomb when we play well.

Hate to tell you buddy but the Celtics average 99.8 points per game so not sure where the 100 point comment came from you aren't even close on that one.
Well, one could argue that our D hasn't been top notch either, has it? :p

So, thanks, but I'm not altering that one.

I hate how Sheed swipes sometimes. You're 6'11" man. Just put your hands straight up and there is no chance Smith even gets it off. It's an easy call for the ref to make, even if you didn't touch him. The swiping motion isn't appealing to the eye.

Pierce should have passed to Perk on that one. You could tell Perk was disappointed too.

C's just need one good run here in the 4th quarter to put this game away.  Just having trouble hitting the big shot to push the lead back to double digits.

Clippers have been very good tonight on defense along with the Celtics --- they give up 99 points per game but have kept the Celtics well under that pace tonight.

Perk can't defend Craig Smith wow --- lead down to 4 as the Clippers keep hanging around.

What's with all the new equipment being worn by the Celts tonight on their arms and legs? Both Pierce and Rondo with the dual white knee pads and Baby is also loaded up with stuff.

A sizable lead gets shrunken down with a little spurt by the Clippers.  Same old story for these Celtics at home --- can't put teams away and wind up in another dogfight.  Team just doesn't appear to have killer instinct anymore.

Can someone tell me if we can find stats for the time we (and them) are taking to get a shot off?
