A 40 yard FG in a dome?  Any kicker who can't make this doesn't belong in the NFL.

I hate to see this game come down to a crappy pass interference call.

One of the great NFC Championship games I can remember.

It could have been, but both teams have been dropping the ball left and right...turnovers...penalties

neither team at their finest

That is true... None the less a great game.

Saints / Colts.  It's going to be a good one.

Now just beat the Colts...

And you can enjoy it for a year and then it is back to the Patriots being on top!

If the OC of the Saints doesn't have a brainfart like today, we could be looking at a real shootout in the Super Bowl.

Really?

The Colts just had to beat two teams that barely made the post-season with two young, mediocre quarterbacks and weak receivers in order to get to the Superbowl.

The Saints had to beat a pretty solid team and a fairly great team, both with amazing quarterbacks and great receivers, not to mention solid running games.

The Saints are a much more balanced team.  The Colts have the edge at QB and TE (and it's not even a big one), but I can't think of any other positions where the Colts have the advantage.

I like the Saints to win the Superbowl.  The NFC Championship felt like the Superbowl to me.

Seriously though, interception and too many men in the huddle screw ups aside, why were the Vikings content to set up a 50 yard field goal at the end of regulation?  They let over a minute run off the clock on two short runs before the 3rd down blunder.

Yup

That was pretty poor game management at the end there for Minn.

I guess I'm thinking on poise alone in favor of the Colts.  Maybe the Saints got there jitters out in this game, but they did not play well.
