Love KG and I love AI but neither of them deserve it this year. And the Celtics as a team probably don't deserve 3 all-stars. Pierce is almost certainly a shoein, and I think Rondo has a spot, too.

Honestly, only Rondo and Pierce really deserve those spots on the all-star team.

i definitely would've put rondo or derrick rose as a starter in the east, even though i like AI.

in the west, i think Durant and Dirk should be starting.....then again, Duncan is still good, and even though I HATE Carmelo, he's doin good, too.

we'll see what happens with the reserves next week.

I don't like to say this, but I hope AI sprains an ankle a day before the ASG and can't play.

Mo Williams is out 6 weeks, I don't think he'll make the team. Rondo and Rose are the east's premier PGs.. Get them both in there, coaches.

If I was being objective, I probably would have taken Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson.

In terms of true PGs, Rondo is probably the best in the East.

The all-star voting is a joke and should be removed from the hands of the clueless fans.

Did you know ESPN actually lowers your basketball IQ?

True fact.

It's a toss up for me between Chris Bosh and Kevin Garnett for the starting spot ... by KG definitely deserves to be at an All-Star.

If I was being objective, I probably would have taken Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson.

Joe Johnson is a great choice. Fully agree, with that, and with Rondo being the best point guard in the East this season.

A bit surprised that Bosh didn't get the vote as a starter--not so much because of how he compares to KG, but more because I remember back when all of Canada voted in Vince Carter ahead of better players.  I'm surprised there isn't a huge block voting for Bosh, since he's supposed to be the franchise guy up there.

My picks as the best in the east by position would've been

Rondo
Wade (sorry, JJ)
LeBra (though I can't stand him and like Wallace better)
Bosh (wouldn't want him on my actual team)
Howard

There is no Canadian voting block. If there was I'd have mobilized it to vote me in.

Wow.  Wonder how VC seemed to get a couple zillion more votes than anyone else back in the Air Canada days?  With the current lack of love for Bosh, I was wondering if it indicated a lack of support for the Raptors/NBA there.

But I'd probably vote you in before VC anyday.
