Celtics hang on what a tough game.  Credit to Ray for hitting the big shot there.

Also tons of credit to the Blazers for their effort --- they are decimated by injuries but still had a chance to win.

It's obvious to anyone watching this game that the C's problems are nowhere near solved.  The second half offense was abysmal once again and they continue to be unable to rebound effectively.

And biggest of all KG was limping for the 4th quarter and OT seriously.  Hopefully it was just being tired but it looked eerily similar to his previous problems...

I don't care how ugly it was, that was a fun game and a good win.

I agree. It was fun for some reason, even when we were giving up the lead. I just felt Portland was hitting tough shots.

Refs swallowed their whistles on that last one...

Ray almost blew it with a foul.  :o

Fernandez is a flopper. He flailed his legs out. I'm glad the refs didn't fall for it.

This somewhat reminds me of that CHA game two years ago..Ray Ray was like 2-14 and he hit that Dagger at the buzzer in that game, too...

"Ray Allen for the Game..Got it!! At the Buzzer!!!".....

Well they nearly blew another one against a depleted Portland squad that only had 8 healthy guys after Bayless went out on the first half.

I was not impressed.  Exept for Rondo and TA, they all looked old and slow.  Pierce's legs were so tired in the 4th quarter that he was shooting airballs.

I also liked that the team didn't complain to the refs too much. It seems that is something they are working on. Except Sheed. He's the same.

Woo. Life is so much better with a win.

Yep, back atcha and everybody!

Gotta love this finish. Seriously. I was going to post "[dang], ANOTHER LOSS, we're sucking badly" and then the Ray three, the hustle play, TA's dunk, Ray's reaction, the defense on the last Blazers possession... amazing.

It wasn't pretty but there is plenty to be concerned about in this game but [dang], what a finish! Sometimes games like that mark the beginning of a winning streak and the return of a mojo. Hopefully it will be the case!

I love you Celtics!!

And once again we had the confirmation that you have to give the ball to Ray at the end of games. I was all against it because I had never seen him shoot so badly and with such a lack of confidence but [dang]... Jesus came through as always, haha!

it's a nice win but we need to get that killer instinct back. portland played admirably without their superstar. that is how we should play with or without kg...no excuses, just play hard! i hope this marks the start of a good winning run. go celts!
