Take a look at the sponsor of his basketball-referrence.com page:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/perkike01.html

In case it cycles out, here is what it currently states.

Chas Prebil sponsor(s) this page.

Kendrick Perkins is a master of setting moving screens and jumping over the back of other players to get rebounds. How he doesn't foul out of every game is amazing.

So who wants to sponsor Kobe's page  ;).

Some dude willing to spend $5 for a month for the joy of having his knock on Perk attached to his Basketball Reference page.

Kind of funny actually.

And Faf, the Kobe page would cost a pretty penny more (we could all pitch in though)
Yup

It costs more to be Scali's sponsor (15) then Doc's sponsor (10)

I also noticed they had a couple of errors on Perk's transactions.

I love basketball reference though.

actually looking more closely I see what the deal was.. They got it right.

The pick Memphis used to draft Perk was originally acquired from Sacramento in 1999!

I think the transactions page is also tracking the history of the draft pick that was used to select Perk.

In other words:

In 1999, the Kings traded a 2003 draft pick to the Magic.

In 2003, the Magic traded that pick to Memphis.

From there, Memphis traded Perk's draft rights to us.

I like Rondo's string of transactions:

August 6, 2004: Traded by the Los Angeles Lakers (as a 2006 1st round draft pick) with Rick Fox and Gary Payton to the Boston Celtics for Chucky Atkins, Jumaine Jones and Chris Mihm.

February 24, 2005: Traded by the Boston Celtics (as a 2006 1st round draft pick) with Tom Gugliotta, Gary Payton and Michael Stewart to the Atlanta Hawks for Antoine Walker.

August 19, 2005: Traded by the Atlanta Hawks (as a 2006 1st round draft pick) with Boris Diaw and a 2008 1st round draft pick (Robin Lopez) to the Phoenix Suns for Joe Johnson.

June 28, 2006: Drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 1st round (21st pick) of the 2006 NBA Draft.

June 28, 2006: Traded by the Phoenix Suns with Brian Grant to the Boston Celtics for a 2007 1st round draft pick (Rudy Fernandez).

So Rondo's part Laker huh?  I feel so betrayed  ;D
