It's at least a "relief" to know that the players do realize how poorly they are playing in the second half of games. And I hope Shelden gets playing time because at least he has heart and desire but he can't show them because he doesn't see the court.

You can't blame Shelden for talking when Doc doesn't even put him for one minute on the court... The guy would contribute a lot and give a spark to this team but he just can't because Doc sticks him on the bench for whatever reason.

It does seem like this whole team is playing like a wounded animal. We play hard for half the game thinking it's enough to win and then we play the second half like we're trying to save energy and avoid further injuries... It's like we're so afraid to go out and play now because something might happen to our key players which will cost us the championship. The problem with this strategy is that sooner or later, we'll lose our mental toughness playing this way (if we haven't already) and we won't be able to be up to par mentally when it counts.

Personally, I don't think Shelden should have tweeted those things to the public. It doesn't come across as very ubuntu...

Slumps, or players speaking out?

If it's slumps, we've had a few of those over the past two seasons.  The team's effort was definitely questioned at times, especially last season.

In terms of speaking out, that's rarer, but I remember that both Eddie and Tony said some things to the media about lack of playing time in the championship season.  Also, last year there was some locker room discord between the vets and young guys.

I just think it's hard to primarily blame this stuff on Rasheed's presence.

i was more talking about the speaking out, and i just believe that eddie and tony are bit players.

 while sheed was brought in here to be a main component and honestly i just cant stand the way he plays the game and the way he treats the game. Thats the part that bothers me the most and i feel like its rubbing off on some of our guys.
