Sixers are having trouble decided which 2 people to keep and have narrowed it down to 4 and would like some input to help decide. The four guys are: Louis the rat Williams, Andre iggy, Thad young and speights. So who should I keep??

Man, that's a tough choice, because you can make a defensible combo with any of those four.

On a personal level, I like the upside of Young and Speights the best.  However, I think the smart money may be on Iggy (who is another player that I like.)
I'd take Iggy and then probably Young. Unless you want to get way under the cap in which case Iggy's big contract should scare you off.

Yeah, I was thinking salary considerations here also but I'd go Young & Speights.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Memphis...this is a tricky one.

Gasol and Mayo?  Gasol and Gay?  Gay and Mayo?  Hudson and Haddadi?
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I'm also open to franchise trades if anyone is interested in the Grizzlies.  This is a slow day at work until session opens.

I guess I'd go Iggy and Speights probably, but neither Speights or young is the type of guy you want as your second cornerstone.

Champ, any interest in swapping franchises with me? I'm Toronto.

I'll think about it, but I also just realized that Memphis's best players all have sweet, sweet rookie contracts, so that's making the team look a little bit nicer.  Well, that, and the high draft pick that I failed to understand.  I really should have read Roy's post better.

Still, all offers considered until I can think of something better to do at work!

well I think any of the 4 guys I narrowed it down 2 would make a good cornerstones to start with iggys contract is what is stopping me from taking him automaticly and it's a toss up right now between young and speights...Williams is out for now

Am I the only one that wouldn't entertain the thought of keeping Young? I'm amazed that he hasn't played his way out of the starting five in Philadelphia, but then Eddie Jordan has been an easy coach to second guess. (The Don Nelson of the Eastern Conference?) Young works hard, is very mobile, has great length and upside. But when his jumpshot isn't falling - and it's not - he doesn't contribute anything on the offensive end. Mediocre rebounder, poor passer, mediocre at getting to the rim, poor free throw shooter when he does draw the call.

I would keep Iguodala (nothing to hate but the contract) and Brand or Williams.

All right.

I'm still deliberating whether to pair Bosh with Calderon or Bargs.

I'd say Thompson or Hawes. Evans is not a point guard, once Martin comes back the two will have problems playing together. You do not want that problem to carry over to your fictional team.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think you should keep Martin. Of course, you do have first overall pick, so I suppose you can pick any 3 you want if it comes down to it.
