Ouch, hopefully it just swelled up a bit and he'll be fine after ice and some rest.

New plan:  we rest our starters until the end of the season, with the goal of hanging on to the #8 seed.  That way, we get a better draft pick, as well as going into the playoffs healthy.

I'm with you on the "sort of" part....Can we lobby to make the All-Star break two weeks long?

In a way, it's somewhat funny. He's at practice, they practice what happens in games in practice, he keeps bumping his knee in games...

Man, I really can't stand Shelden Williams....EVERY time I see him drop a pass(which is always)...and NOW this---he sucks....this guy is a JINX---probably the reason we've had so many injuries all year   ;)

Sadly, I kinda wish this would happen. I mean, either way, it's a 4 team division. Either way we face 1 or 2 out of: Atlanta, Orlando, Cleveland. Not worried about anyone else.

But then imagine if, through the right combo of teams being afraid, we could add, say, Evan Turner going into next season?

Weird flashback. Thought you were referencing Landon Turner for a minute.

Is it bad that I was nodding while reading your post?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Exactly. You hear "back" and it's really scary, but he just broke a bone. No spinal damage, no weird recurring disc thing, or spasms, or things like that. I bet he'll be fine. But he'll slip a few spots, "just in case."

Well we still have a better record on the road than at home.  8th seed would save us from home court disadvantage.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
