New plan:  we rest our starters until the end of the season, with the goal of hanging on to the #8 seed.  That way, we get a better draft pick, as well as going into the playoffs healthy.

Just kidding...  sort of.
Well we still have a better record on the road than at home.  8th seed would save us from home court disadvantage.
::)

Somehow I'd still rather have home court throughout.

Sadly, I kinda wish this would happen. I mean, either way, it's a 4 team division. Either way we face 1 or 2 out of: Atlanta, Orlando, Cleveland. Not worried about anyone else.

But then imagine if, through the right combo of teams being afraid, we could add, say, Evan Turner going into next season?

buckeye alum here....evan turner is a very very good ball player...needs to work on his jumper but can do it all..was at the wiskey game last night and the kid is just a talent

  • You say when......
Nothing matters except making the playoffs...! Rest
PP, play walker in his place...that kid looks pretty good...better to rest pp, that is the 5th time this year for that knee, how much more banging can it take..?  What about kg's knee..? At least he is resting...I'd say, just make the playoffs 1 or 8...it doesn't matter, lay in the grass at #8..be healthy, and then pounce on the other teams..! You still get home court in the playoffs if you win your games..! (I mean, you win 2 at their place, you finish 'em at home!!)

Being an old team stinks.

Portland isn't exactly and old team and they've had much worse injury issues than we have.

Injuries are a matter of luck more so than age.

They probably will, they've been remarkably injury free for the past two years.

I think Ben Wallace was their only significant injury last year, and he wasn't that important of a player for them.

Wasn't he? I think his injury may have costed them the title. They were never the same team after he went down.

TWICE! You got me TWICE!

I suspect someone might not like it because of the injury of it all.
