Baltimore just doesn't have the firepower to hang with the Colts

When you're going 3 & out on offense, it makes it a lot tougher for the defense to try and keep holding it down.  I don't care how good the defense is, if they're out on the field for an inordinate amount of time, they're going to get worndown.

You can't give a guy like Peyton Manning numerous opportunities on offense or eventually it'll kill you.  Baltimore's offense needs to keep moving and keep the Colts O off the field for any chance of them winning.

There was no way the Ravens were going to win anyway, but they've executed terribly.  Penalties + turnovers = no shot.

The fumbles and penalties have killed the Ravens who've had there chances in this game.

This game reveals how far the Patriots really were from being a serious contender.

Not saying the Pats were serious contenders, but it's a bit of a stretch to ever say Team A lost to Team B and Team B lost to Team C so Team A is twice as bad as Team C...etc...

Basically, my opinion was if they hadn't have lost last week to Baltimore, it was probably going to come to an end against San Diego anyways.

A rematch with Indy would've been fun but I don't think the Pats would've gotten past the Chargers to have it happen.  Pats had the Colts on the ropes but couldn't finish.  (No need to rehash that whole debacle)

The Colts were pretty good today, but the Saints looked way more dominant.

I'm still expecting a Cowboys / Chargers Superbowl.

I pray to the football gods that today we get to see at least one good close game.

I think Cowboys/Vikings has the potential to be a really good one.

I agree.  It's a tough game for me; do I root with my heart (Favre) or my wallet (Cowboys).

Root for your wallet with lots of injuries so the Saints can move on to the superbowl.

I can't wait for the Brett Farve pick that ends the Vikings' season.

That makes two of us.

I'd also take another AP fumble, I'm not picky as long as the Vikings lose either today or next weekend.

I'd have to go on a sabbatical from work and go abroad to avoid the Brett Farve orgy that the Vikings making the Superbowl would create.

Now I just need to make some popcorn and get my beer and I'll be good for the entire afternoon.
