I will keep watching and keep going to the games, but it is difficult to watch the way this team plays without KG. Especially tonight. Might have been some of the dumbest basketball I have seen. Three shot clock violations, 18 turnovers, 13 missed free throws and pretty bad defense on the Bulls best player. I am really worried about Monday night with no KG and probably no Sheed. It could get incredibly ugly.

I think they were just tired and as I said in another post, the rotation sucked. I miss KG too but say we are playing pretty well with such a great team. Celtics playing 5 days out of 7 would make the best team tired.

Yeh, I definitely found myself watching tonight out of loyalty - not because it was an enjoyable experience.  Not pretty.

We're an old team, you could see that tonight.

It's true that it hurts to see the team struggle when you think "[dang], if KG was here, THIS would not happen". I was thinking that during the whole game against Chicago.

What is even worse is that we don't even know for sure when he will be back, and in the worst case scenario, if he will be back. :-X

I'm not really sure that KG would have made that big of an impact last night. It's not like he's been on fire this year either. And he shares the same problem as this team right now in the fact that he's old and hurting.

I'm sad with how the Celtics have been the last month or two myself. But I'm not sure KG will cure everything when/if he ever
returns.
Peace through Tyranny

The two times we played the Bulls with KG this year, they got blown out both in Boston and in Chicago. He would have made a big difference, especially in the froncourt, where the Bulls hurt us all night long with their size advantage.

KG would have spaced the floor offensively and made a big impact defensively.

I don't feel that it is hard to watch without KG. I just find it hard to watch when they play the way they did last night.
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

Which happens a lot more often without KG.

Agree with this.  KG just gives us that swagger.  His intensity (which feeds down to the whole team) must instill some level of fear in our competition.

Even when he doesnt bring his A,B, or C game, he just has that ability to energize.

Not making excuses here for last nights lost but the team was probably mentally and physically tired from playing 5ga.in 7nights or something like it.With this rest over the next 4days they will reenergize some and play as well as they can without KG.

Exactly.  I've seen them play just as poorly with KG leading the way.  Last night everyone was just playing in slow motion.
This season, second night of a back to back, KG would have been playing in the same speed, no doubt about it in my mind.

i dont feel it is hard to watch without kg.  i feel as though it is hard to watch, not being healthy and at full strength.

if our current healthy players were our guys and we were healthy, i would find them enjoyable, but that emptiness and "what if" feeling is what is tough.
