Two Celtics players on this list!

I'm a frequent reader of SLAM Magazine. Anyone else read it? In the last issue they had a top 10 list of guys that would fail a conditioning test, after being a bit surprised that Andre Miller failed his preseason test.

What do ya'll think? Who would you add to the list?

1. Glen Davis
2. Sean May
3. Eddy Curry
4. Jerome James
5. Boris Diaw
6. Brian Scalabrine
7. Zach Randolph
8. Andrew Bogut
9. Jamaal Magloire
10. Shaq

I'd take Baby off the list or at least drop him way down; at this point his overweightness has become pretty exaggerated.  Move Jerome James to #1 and Curry to #2.  And put Sheed somewhere toward the bottom of the list too.

How does Baby end up lower than 2 Knicks who actually miss games due to conditioning?

I wouldn't attach too much import to this, considering the source. There are at least 4 or 5 here that would be much lower on the list, including Glen and Scal.

I wonder how the editors of Slam Magazine would fare on a conditioning test.

Patrick O'Bryant should be on there somewhere; that guy has some of the worst conditioning for an NBA player that I've seen.

It seems like Slam was more interested in listing the pudgiest players in the league, rather than those with the worse conditioning.

Zach Randolph? Dude's a psycho but he's a hell of a player. No way he's not in shape.

Is this a hypothetical situation or is it something that was actually measurable?  If this is just some opinion based poll, then I don't give it too much credibility.  I am pretty sure that even the worse shaped players are still more conditioned then 90% of the overall population.

I second that. Just because Big Baby could eat more in one meal than an average family in a day doesn't mean he's out of shape.

If you get injured breathing, like Yao,that means you'd fail a conditioning test, right?

If you are Gilbert Arenas and are unhealthy in the head, does that fail a conditioning test?

What if you have no heart? Or stay up till 3am before a game? Does that fail?
