Blame the refs, blame the injuries, say what you want. When Doc got ejected, Tom Thibodeau lost the game for us. We can now see why Tom is not cut out to be a head coach.

The offense was atrocious under his rule. Dribble down the clock, no movement, all isolation and no good shots. And not one substitution for what...18 - 19 minutes straight in the second half? There was no way these guys could pull this one out they were too tired. All the shots they took in the end were flat and short. Why couldnt Tom throw Eddie or Allen in there even for 2 or 3 minutes to start the 4th? Scal played such a great first half...And the way Tom rewards him is to bench him? I know Davis played a pretty good game but you have to use your rotations. Just poor poor coaching. Disgrace. I love Doc's intensity...But please Doc...Only one tech from now on.

if the refs are not brutal, doc does not get tossed, and T-bone never gets to head-coach.

blame not the T-squared, put the blame right where it belongs, on the refs.

everything you said is right, but it boils down to crappy officiating getting this train moving.

  • Rondo = Good
This is a good point, Tom Thibodeau didn't seem to be doing much coaching out there.

Hahaha can we just have one topic where we discuss the entire game, instead of posting every single issue?

Brb, starting "Two words: Rajon's minutes".

All the coaching Tom did was on the defensive side of the ball.

I can't honestly believe Tom was calling plays for Big Baby in the low post.

The only way to defend an opposing player who is hot, is to deny him the ball or double him.

Also a great way to neutralize a hot player is get a hot player of your own.....hot....not go to a bench player or a player who's turned the ball over 6 times in the game already.

In all seriousness why were the no substitutions made? I dont get it.. Scal is finally providing quality minutes and he doesnt sniff the floor.. It was also obvious his outside shooting threat was opening drives for rondo not to mention kick outs to ray and paul.. I just dont see why nothing was being done as the offense was bogging down. Simply doesnt make sense

Thibodeau choked tonight. He wore out the starters. Did he sub once? Bad job. Yes, the refs lost control of the game, but we also lost our composure, and played like we were screwed. Not a way to win.  Plus Joe Johnson is amazing (kill Chris Wallace for that one).  He is one helluva player.

Well, to save on threads, he should have subbed Scal in for Baby. Then they should send Baby away until he gets into decent shape. All I kept hearing about before the season was how much weight he'd lost. I can assure you that's not the case.

Yeah the minutes were inexcusable. Forget about saving our legs for long term reasons, it makes it a whole lot tougher to win an individual basketball game if the same 5-man unit plays 18+ consecutive minutes to end a game. I'm unable to watch a lot of games because of where I go to school, so I'm wondering, has Doc done anything like that all year long? What would have led the assistants to think that was the right move to make?

Def poor coaching.

Also horrible color commentary. I had to mute the TV for a while when Tommy was complaining about a call that was clearly correct in the replay. He can truly be horrible.

Watching the re-broadcast now ... Tommy had every right to complain ... this is horrible officiating. Not remotely a flagrant one, and Big Baby held him up ... refs should be ashamed of this one. Wow.

Yup ... really is horrendous, and blatantly so. A TON of no-calls in the last quarter. I hope Doc files a complaint with the NBA ... while nothing usually comes from it, it may help in the long run to get the system re-tooled ... well, I can dream, can't I? ;) (TP)

One of the worst games I watched in a very long time.  The officiating in the second half, particularly the third quarter was abysmal.  I can't blame Doc for getting thrown out of the game, I got thrown out of my living room.

TT was terrible tonight as well.  Keeping Ray on JJ despite JJ abusing him on every trip. Not subbing and trying to find a spark.  Not staying on Rondo to push it and create mismatches & easy buckets like he did with ease for more than half of the game. Pushing the ball into the post where KP couldn't help but travel.

Once the tides started turning they lost their swagger and started playing scared, which turned out a terrible effort on their behalf.

And wouldn't JJ look mighty nice in green and white???  [dang] you Chris Wallace!!!
