to be darning Doc for not playing Lester Hudson enough and darning Danny Ainge for waiving the youngster believing that he'll sit around and wait on the Celtics to resign him, after the C's especially Doc and Danny have said to the world "Lester Hudson is a NBA Player". The kid makes his debut on Tuesday for the Grizzlies as a back-up SG for O.J. Mayo vs. the Clippers.

I won't count on his 1st game being a "come out party" yet, but i'll say his 1st game as a routinely back-up will be the start of a  real good NBA career that could've and should've began here with the Celtics. [dang] you Danny and special double [dang] for Doc Rivers. ::) with that free flexible open roster spot we now have I hope you guys are getting something great in return.

============================================================

EDIT:  "[dang]" isn't Jeff's favorite word, so alas, your post has been edited to "darn".

Yes, he hasn't played a single minute for his new team.

The Grizzlies tried out Darius Miles after the Celtics cast him off. Did we regret that move?

A player that every team passed on at least once. Most teams twice.

A lot of people had the same reaction when we got rid of guys like Milt Palacio, Gabe Pruit and JR Bremer. THe only one of that group that I will still say could play was Bremer. However, I think he consciously chose to make more money overseas where I believe he has been pretty successful.

Hope he succeeds as a bench player on a lotto team.

Celtics still don't need him.  If they use his roster spot to get someone that can help the Celtics win this year, then the Celtics made a great move.

Ran across this thread reading through the Celtics Talk forum

Just to update it, maybe it was way too early to say DARN as Mr. Hudson can't find playing time in Memphis either

Maybe Doc and Danny had it right and he's just not that good

I don't think Memphis has lost since they got him, and look at us... ;D
