don't blame the officials.  Celtics sucked from Doc's ejection onward.

And I'd be fine with seeing ATL in the playoffs. I think we'd work them.

SCREW the NBA and their CROOKED refs------kept the Hawks in with a BUNCH of NO CALLS in the first half......then that RIDICULOUS series of free throws---let them STEAL this game-----CRIMINAL--!!

C's once again CHOKE down the stretch.  No matter what led to this it was a tie game with 3 minutes left.

C's failed again on both ends in crunch time tonight.  They were outfought by the Hawks when it mattered most.  Tough teams overcome bad calls, injuries or whatever obstacles arise.

The C's turned a 14 point lead into yet another loss.  The Hawks are supremely confident against this team.  They did everything right down the stretch and there is NO EXCUSE for the way the C's failed down the stretch.

Once again the Celtics failed miserably down the stretch and have yet another loss to show for it.

PITIFUL...

Disappointing to lose ... but I'm happy with how effective the Celtics were against the Hawks despite not having Kevin Garnett + Rasheed Wallace + Marquis Daniels.

I feel better about how the Celtics match up against the Hawks come playoff time.

Nice job by Tom T to wear out the starters, he did not make one sub since Doc has been ejected.

Yeah, just inexcusable. Bad job by Thib.

Wow. That was the most fixed hunk of junk I've see this year. I guess atlanta needs some NBA help and is getting at least against us! Pew! I'll be smelling this piece for a long time.

Perk and Big Baby both stood there and watched Crawford drive to the hoop.

Ray misses another wide open look really needed that shot...
He shot 5-10 from the field and 3-5 from deep.

Its not like he's putting up a 2-10....

Yeah, we could used TA and Scal for a little D and rest.

  • Thank you Eddie!
What a game by the refs, worthy of their great performance in Game 6 of the 02 WCF.  Worst loss of the season for us by far.  I'm so angry right now.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
The refs definitely influenced this game, but they're not responsible for us getting outscored 56-41 in the second half.

2 minutes of great play here is paramount.  C's need to stop Joe Johnson at all costs.

Well they stopped Johnson by committing a STUPID foul.  C's make so many boneheaded plays in crunch time for a veteran team wow...
You never answered my question. Where are you when we do *good* things for a stretch? If you can quote the post where you say "good stretch", "nice play!" or "I like how we're defending right now" I'll TP you up. But right now, you just come across like a grouch that can't say anything positive without bringing the negative.

Sorry man.

You must have missed earlier tonight when talking about Scal.  And when I said that the first half was the best possible output that could be expected from the current roster.  That was pretty positive --- but of course you are right I knew they would give the large lead back as always...
I'll repeat myself since I think I didn't make it clear enough:

You can not say anything positive WITHOUT bringing the negative.

Why?
