I heard that his father was a pretty good tennis player that also excelled in a bunch of other things, like coaching and something else.  The real question though is how is his mother a Ms. Sweden?
Baby Jesus!

I know he's the focus of lot of hate around here but
the kid has the fire it takes to be a champion.
i wonder how well he would fit next to perk?
his contract is up in'11. could we squeeze him in?

a post GPA core of perk, noah and rondo would shut opposing offenses down for the better part of a decade.

That core would have no choice but to shut down opposing offenses, because they'd sure as heck struggle to score the ball themselves.

Taking your point though, Noah certainly leaves it all out on the court - something which any coach/player/fan loves.

He's one of my fave's to watch.

true, either perk or noah would have to add a mid range jump shot. with rondo handling the ball they should have no trouble putting the ball in the hole.
add a sharp shooter and a slasher and we're good to go.

yeah, that's not so easy. Have perk get an unstoppable jumper, find a new Pierce, find a new Ray allen, and we're good to go!
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

obvious.
noah would have to play further from the basket on O to simulate the KGKP experience. he would need to knock down the 15' jumper with some regularity.

as for the wing, were going to have to find replacements at some point whether we landed noah or not. fortunatly talented wings are less rare that talented bigs. i'd love to see kevin martin or anthony morrow and gay/deng/durrant(imd) fill out the starting 5

imagin for a sec
rondo, morrow, durrant, noah, perk
or for a little more D
rondo, martin, deng, noah perk
i'm dreamin

Love Noah.  Is there any realistic chance of getting him?

I would say probably not a chance.  We had our chance and gave up our pick.  Now he is a starter.  I think he grew up in New York with his mother...not sure. His father was a French Open tennis champion who was once named to that (I think maybe "People Magazine") most sexy male list.  I believe his mother was a Miss Sweden.  I am just going by memory, so I may be thinking of the wrong person, but I think Arthur Ash discovered Yannick Noah when he was a child in Cameroon and recommended him to the French Tennis Association.  The story is that he was hitting tennis balls with a board (the stuff of legends, lol).  If I have this whole story wrong, I apologize...but I don't have time to check my facts, so I will just throw it out there and let you verify if you are that interested.

Yep, true story! Yannick Noah was born in France and he moved on to Cameroon when was three years old. He is still very popular in France, in fact he has been the most popular french personality in the country for something like 3 years in a row. He has made a career in singing since he has retired from tennis.

He married Cecila Rodhe, Miss Sweden 1978.

Still don't know how that's possible. ;D

noah isnt a great player, with regards to being an all star.  however, he is a great role player.  if he were on a team like the celtics, that is a veteran/championship caliber team, he would be so valuable as a role player off the bench!
yep, he's a great first big off bench, or if you have a all star center he could play as a starting pf
I will always respect players like him, on our team or not, noah, horford etc
