I know he's the focus of lot of hate around here but
the kid has the fire it takes to be a champion.
i wonder how well he would fit next to perk?
his contract is up in'11. could we squeeze him in?

a post GPA core of perk, noah and rondo would shut opposing offenses down for the better part of a decade.

That core would have no choice but to shut down opposing offenses, because they'd sure as heck struggle to score the ball themselves.

Taking your point though, Noah certainly leaves it all out on the court - something which any coach/player/fan loves.

He's one of my fave's to watch.

true, either perk or noah would have to add a mid range jump shot. with rondo handling the ball they should have no trouble putting the ball in the hole.
add a sharp shooter and a slasher and we're good to go.

Admittedly, Noah's a great player. The energy he brings would definitely fit in with us.

Loved him since I saw him a few times when his club was with the final four in NCAA.

I'd love it if we made a move for him.

Noah has really improved his mid range shot over the past year or so.

I wouldnt say its realiable, but he is shooting it at a decent percentage.  He tends to fall in love with it too much though - jacking it up when he should swing it and get into rebounding position.

He is definately better suited to playing on the floor with offensive minded players.

I think Noah would look great in green.  As I have stated here many times, I had hoped he was on the Celtics draft list.  He brings passion, effort and fun to the mix and he is not afraid to mix it up with anyone....opponent or teammate who is dogging it.

I've been impressed by his hustle and rebounds. He could use some more work on his jumper and free throws, though. He shoots the ball with both hands - just an awful form.

noah isnt a great player, with regards to being an all star.  however, he is a great role player.  if he were on a team like the celtics, that is a veteran/championship caliber team, he would be so valuable as a role player off the bench!

He's who I would have selected had we kept the 5th pick.  I took a lot of crud for wanting to select him (on different board, different screen name) back then.  He'd be a heck of an asset for any team he plays for.  He's gonna get paid when his rookie contract is over.  I bet he gets a good 10M a year.  We won't have that kind of cash for a good while, so unfortunately, not an option for us.

He was my pick too. Much better player than Jeff Green, IMO.

He's what the Cavs wish Varajao could be.

I just randomly looked at the stats today (before I saw this thread), and I saw that Noah is averaging an astonishing 12.2 RPG! Wow, he has really improved!

I still hate Noah when he plays us but I've got to admit that he has impressed me this season. Not only does he play very well and is a monster on the boards (when you watch him you see that he has a real feeling, he knows by instinct where the ball is going to rebound), but he had the guts to step up and tell LeBron he was arrogant and disrespectful.

Plus, we hear a lot about Noah here in France, but I have to admit that this time he is worth the praise.

I respect any player who plays as hard as Noah does.  Too bad that effort couldn't be bottled and given out.

Yeh, the LeBron thing was quite cool.

The energy he brings is so 'pure', I like how he's genuinely bummed when a shot rims out, when someone gets past him on D, etc. You can just see him go "DAYMN" and he'll do that thing with crossing his arms, fists clenched while looking down. (Did I describe that properly? :D)

I like players that go "alright, next time, I know this-and-that player might do that trick, and I won't fall for it again!"
