Its appears that Knicks will buyout the remainder of his contract. I don't know if he's willing to stay in the NBA. But if he does stay, Darko gets the coaching with Clifford Ray and a mentor with KG. I'm suggesting this because He is a rare mobile giant. He is a great shot blocker, a decent rebounder, and has a soft touch for big man. I really think we should try to get Darko. Our coaching staff has done miracles with Perk/Baby/Powe/AJ. Darko is fairly young (24), and is a rare talent.

Extremely interested but I don't think Darko will sign for another NBA team, especially not one that's asking him to be a 10-15 minute a night backup (at best).

I agree ... I don't think Boston is a situation that would entice him, or give him the opportunity he's looking for. Interesting idea, though.

Yeah, he's just counting the time to go back to Europe.

I agree with others that he's going to leave the NBA.  Even if he was going to stay, I don't think he'll ever really be a starting caliber center in the NBA.  He could be a good backup, but that's about it, in my opinion.  He's simply had too many chances, in too many systems that should have been favorable for him.

I feel that if he comes here we will never get any playing time and will not get any better than he is now. I feel that the celtics currently need more backcourt insurance than front court.
