I think it's better to start a new thread about it. Here are the original tweets :

Quote
Memphis has been awarded Lester Hudson off waivers, a league source tells Y! Sports. The Celtics let the rookie point guard go this week.

Memphis had scouted Hudson a great deal at nearby Tennessee-Martin, before Boston had picked him with the 58th pick of June Draft.

Hudson's a Memphis native and will sit in stands with GM Chris Wallace tonight. "He's very happy," his agent, Lance Young, wrote in email.

Like I said in the other thread, I was sad to see Lester waived by the C's and I hope he will perform well in Memphis. Nice to hear that he has already found a new team, I hope he does well there and they keep him.

Hometown boy goes home. I'm happy for him. I hope Danny now has a backup plan.

Good for Lester, I wish him the best of luck!

Memphis seems to sign all the lower tier free agents that other teams don't seem interested in. Darius Miles, AI, Tinsley, Lester Hudson and Marcus williams in the last year or so. Go Chris Wallace!

Wallace did an awful job here, but has done an excellent job, building a solid team, in Memphis. I hate to admit it, but that roster is young and scary.

Good for Lester.  But I'm not sure going to his home town will make it easier for him.  Let's hope he plays anyway.

Wasn't that the bogus, lame trade?

For those Lester Lovers here, I don't know how much PT Lester will see in Memphis. He's kinda in a similar situation being behind a young promising PG in Conley, playing over 30 MPG, and an established vet in Tinsley, who is playing the rest of the backup minutes. Also, Memphis seems to be building some good chemistry with the current rotation.

He might not see time unless Memphis just gives up on Tinsley.

Pau no longer wanted to be there. The trade was just a salary dump. Unfortunately it was with the Lakers. As for Memphis, it opened up room to sign guys like Zack Randolph. Have you seen his #s this year? :o Also, Marc, Gasol is the real deal.

who is their scoring guard, cause thats what lester is.  eddie house reupping with the celts a month after lester was drafted really hurt his chances.

if memphis plays him off the ball he will shine.
