We're shooting above 62% from the field, the Heat 48%. We have 18 FTM, they have 9. We have 3 triples, they have 2.

If it wasn't for turnovers and rebounding, we'd have a 15-20 points lead by now.
5 O-Reb for the Heat, 1 for the Celtics. (though we're even 18-18 in total rebounds)

11 turnovers for the C's, 6 for the Heat.

why is ray still guarding Wade??!!!!  Doc is awful at ingame adjustments. Although, it was obvious before the game that Ray shouldn't be guarding him, but still..
Who is Ray supposed to guard, and who should guard Wade?

So you are saying Ray is a liability? ;)
I'm asking the poster what other conceivable line up should be used to guard Wade. I didn't say anything about Ray's defense.

If you want my opinion, Ray is obviously a liability at the 2 spot, he doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard quick 2s anymore.

That is why, in a different thread, I said Ray should be the 6th man and Tony should start.

Tony isn't making your case for you, his 3 turnovers and fouls in 9 minutes hurt the C's something awful in the first half.

No. Feel free to complain like everyone else does with "D-whistle", "super-star treatment", etc..

Unfortunately, Tony is our backup pg right now. If Tony is dribbling the ball, I expect turnovers. :-\

Pretty much, though he had 1 turnover when he was at SG and 2 at the PG.

Its just the player he is, he doesn't have the discipline to guard a player like Wade for extended minutes.

I know another way, I'll just tell you what I did in real life.

I just threw some really, very, very nasty words out at Crawford. I said things about his mother, I used other words for poo and other words for sexual intercourse, and then there were some variations of psychological diseases that I threw at him.

There. Does that count as masking profanity, or is that allowed? :)

All those fouls make NBA basketball, almost unwatchable. If this wasn't the Celtics, I'd of turned it by now.

The one where Wade bumped up against Rayray was just absolutely weird, wrong and all kinds of ... ununderstandable.

And Ray no longer has the talent. I guess that is why I'm in support of trading Ray if a good deal comes along.

Here´s your 400th TP. Congratulations, Chief!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

We'd need to get a very good SG or player back to replace Ray's overall production. He's still an elite offensive player, one of the rare low usage shooters who is himself efficient and opens up the court for his teammates.

Co-sign about the Heat guys. I especially like the play by play guy. Maybe it's because of the praise he is heaping on Rondo.
